Assigning Courses to Clients

One of the most important things you can do for your clients is to assign them relevant courses. This gives them direct access to the learning content they need, right in their Hub account.

How to Assign a Course

Assigning a course is a straightforward process:

  1. Navigate to the Clinic - Click "Clinic" in the main navigation.
  2. Select Your Client - Use the navigation controls to find the client you want to work with.
  3. Find the Course - In the client's profile view, look for a section showing available courses or an "Assign Course" option.
  4. Click "Assign Course" - Select the course you want to assign and confirm your choice.
  5. Done! - The client will have access to the course immediately. It will appear in their "My Hub" dashboard.

What's the Difference Between Assigned and Self-Enrolled Courses?

It's helpful to understand the difference:

  • Assigned Courses - These are courses that you, as the clinician, have enrolled the client in. Assigned courses are marked with a special indicator so both you and the client can easily identify them. Clients generally cannot remove themselves from assigned courses, ensuring they have consistent access to the content you've chosen for them.
  • Self-Enrolled Courses - These are courses the client (or their carer) has enrolled in themselves, perhaps through a direct purchase or other means. The client has full control over these enrollments.

Tracking Progress on Assigned Courses

Once you've assigned a course, you can monitor the client's progress directly from the Clinic. You'll be able to see:

  • How far they've progressed through the course.
  • Which lessons they've completed.
  • When they last accessed the course.
